How to best utilize the skin

  • Firstly, get your banana and carefully wash the skin
  • Then peel the banana
  • Either wrap the fruit in GladWrap and place in the fridge, or simply eat it

Before we start

Please always use organic banana skins because if you use regular banana skins, then you will be also drinking harmful chemicals.

How to make

Ingredients:

  • 1 or 2 peeled organic banana skins (organic means no toxic chemicals)
  • 1 saucepan of clean water
  • A sprinkle of cinnamon

Proceedure

  • Gently wash the skins using warm soapy water and rinse thoroughly in cold water
  • Place the clean Banana skins into the saucepan containing the water
  • Bring to a boil and then simmer for 10 minutes
  • Allow to cool for 5-10 minutes and then add the cinnamon. (maximum of 1/4 teaspoon)
